If I go with the granada power disc, what things will I have to change or modify? Im tired of having to use both feet to get the car to stop[:@]

I have a 69 andI bought a set of brackets from Scarebird that allowed me to use S-10 4WD calipers and original discs on the drum spindles.

Now that the front end is torn down to replace the shock tower I am looking at other brake systems as I would like to have 4 wheel disk.

be sure to do the power disks. I upgraded from drums to disks a few years back. To be honest, I could hardly tell much improvement. I'm planning to put a power booster on soon. I hope (and expect) that makes a bigger difference.

I did a granada front disc conversion non power, taking the parts from a junk yard, whole thing cost about $400. It made a big difference especially in the side to side yaw it used to do when hitting the drum brakes. Also, my drums used to fade really badly, never had that problem with the disc and I can't really see why you would want to go through all the extra trouble for power brakes.

The reason I want power is because I hate the fact that I have to push really hard to get the car to stop and at high speeds I sometimes use both feet![:@]

- What disc brake set-up do you guys recommend to get the modern brake feel, and not cost $1000

the mustangsteve ones i believe come with everything. the granada brakes are good enough since the car they came off is heavier then your mustang.only thing power brakes does is helps you stop you wont have to push the brake to the floor anymore to stop.

Thats exactly what Im looking for. The guy that sells the Granada Disc Brakes said that he also sells the Granada Power Brakes, and he said that I can use the same brake pedal with no modification. $770 is the total cost with shipping included. Is that a good price?
