Default Wiring Harness Burnt up, need help getting started

So the wiring harness in my 67 with a 351 burnt up, my problem is I have my money tied up in a 86 conversion mustang I am building, is there a way I can run just a few wires just to get it started so that I can at least start it once a week. I want to re wire the whole thing with a Ron Francis Harness but for now just want to get it started and keep it running. Thanks for the help.

Disconnect everything from the solenoid except the heavy cables to and from the starter and battery. You will need a high current type 'kill' switch on oneofthe battery leads, consider usingthe battery ground. Remove the alternator belt. Get an ignition ballast resistor and run it from the battery positive terminal to the coil positive terminal, replacing the other lead there. Using either a remote starter switch or a removable jumper, start the car. As you will have minimum cooling, run for a couple of minutes. You will need to recharge the battery often.

Yea I had everything in the harness going to the front, going to the back is fine, but everything in the dash needs replaced so I am buying each connector and then going to re wire everything with a Ron Francis, just did not want my engine sitting dry right now.
