Posted a note earlier today about some problems with how my 65 Coupe is running. Installed a new battery after discovering its charge was about 1.8 volts. Fired it up this morning and it wouldn't hold a steady idle. When it went in gear, it idled more irregularly and would die when I pushed it over 30 mph.

Fired her up again tonight - started fine - and the idle was pretty consistent. But after a few minutes, it started its rough idle.

It is a 302 V8 automatic, but has a modified carb - not an original one for the standard Mustang engine of the era.

Would appreciate some additional thoughts or suggestions.
