Default torque boxes

A while back someone wrote that they routed ducts to their torque boxes when they eliminated their cowl vents. I am making a set of torque boxes for a 65 coupe and was wondering if you had any picks or could tell me where and how you routed air from the box to the heater. I have a couple ideas in mind I was hoping maybe one of you had a couple pointers for me. I was thinking of running a duct up the corner of the fire wall and floor board under the fender but when you reach the top you hit a welded seam and would have to do a little creative metal work. Any other ideas of getting air to my heater would be appreciated also.

Default RE: torque boxes

sounds like a bad idea a torque box is there for strengthening the car why put a hole in it. if you use a aftermarket heat/ac unit like vintage air you dont need the cowl vent or any ducts it reuses the air in the car.
