Default 9 or 10 inch drums

Here is a dumb question that I should know, but how do you tell if you have 9 or 10 inch drums in the rear. If you just have to take a measurement, where do you measure. [&o]Thanks.

If you car is originally an 8 cyl. it is prob 10 by 1 3/4. Measure accross the iside of the drum. BB cars had 10 by 2.

You were right, thanks again!!

I pulled them off and all the parts seem to be good, so I had the drums turned and will just try to adjust the brakes. While the rears where off though, I painted the drums to match the car. Next week, I am in the field, but hopefully the fronts will get swapped to disc the week after, then I will paint the calipers.
