Thanks alot! Do you know if they would sell them at some place like mustang country, or California mustang?

Mustang Country lists it in their catalog as p/n C5DZ-7986-B for a 65/73 289, 302 for $10.95. BTW, you can dowload their catalog on their website http://mustangcountryintl.com/.

Good luck!
Jeff

Its call an inspections plate. Mustang country? yes they should have it. Seems like you're in my neighborhood, I'm only like 10 minutes or so from mustang country. Where are you at?
im in baldwin park

Ther on ebay all the time as well. By the way, whats up with that drain plug on the side of your oil pan. Looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Get a new oil pan, and while you are at it, changing the original worn out oil punp AND shaft is cheap insurance and a simple job. The oil pump is the heart of your engine, literally. Nothing but catastrophic failure if it goes. Ask me how I know
Thanks for the advice, i noticed that to, I have never had a harder time changing oil on a car than I did with that plug, first no mater how loose it was the oil would just barely come out, I ended up pulling it out, im in the process of getting a new oil pan. But thanks for the tip on the oil pump and shaft, I will look into that

Yes, that oil pan definitely needs some attention or replacement. And, as suggested, go ahead and replace the oil pump while you have the old pan off.
