HIPOPARTS LED GUAGES FOR A 1970 MUSTANG?
Hello i currently have no dash lights in my coupe but my guess is they are burnt out and the guy before me didnt change them. Well anyway i was looking at a red led light kit for my 70 coupe by hipoparts. Any suggestions? Is this a good kit and is it fairly easy to fix the dash lights to work? Please reply soon!
i have a 69 and im pritty sure there the same as the 70. as far as changing the bulbs its easy. you turn the bulbs a half turn and they lock in. im not to know too much about the kit ur wanting to purches but i hope this helps
If you look at your gauge cluster closely, you will see screws holding it in. But, the first thing you should do is to check each and every one of your fuses. Now, if all your fuses are OK, take out the gauge cluster, then take off one of the wires from something like the Gen light, then turn the key on and use a multi-meter gauge to see if you have any juice to that socket. If you do, then the bulb is burned out. Hold the bulb up to the light and see if the tiny wire is burned out or still there. If the bulb is burned out, the little wire will be burnt into.
