Default electric choke

How do you hook up the electric choke on a 600 edelbrock? The choke or something with the carb is causing it not to idle down when hot rodded a little bit.

Default RE: electric choke

Here we go again. On a 64 to 68 with a regular heater, switched 12 volts can be obtained under the hood from the brown lead that goes to the heater blower. You can make a 'Y' type jumper cable by using a male 0.187 inch bullet connector and a female 0.187 inch bullet connector at each end of the 'Y', and thenrunning a longer (about 15 inches) wire crimped into one of those bullets to whatever type of terminal that's on the electric choke.
