'69 CJ vin# location

'69 CJ vin# location

I was told that there is a vin plate in the drivers side fender of my 1969 CJ. Is this the correct location for the vin? Besides the dash, is there another location to find your mustangs correct vin?

Those are 2 places, but the driver's side door plate is the easiest to read. The inner fender requires some work to get to.
