I read. A lot. I also do part time work at a shop that builds street performance and race engines. There are guys out there that know craploads. Like the Pro Stock drage race engine builders. Those guys are squeezing 1,300hp or more out of a n/a 500cid engine using carburetors and gasoline. Over 2.5hp/cid all engine? That's some understanding of engine dynamics right there. I just build my own small blocks in my garage.

Cool. Self taught, have to respect that! That's what I like about this forum. The experience is endless if you are just willing to ask and participate. The classic keep it classic vs, the restomod crowd arguments just about did my in, but I guess that's been handled.

I'm not too crazy about TCP stuff, for the following reasons...
1) It is stupid expensive.
2) You may out class yourself should you ever choose to participate in any level of SCCA events or racing.

On the other hand, if I had copious piles of money I would have every bit of their stuff under my 71 Grande.

If you decide to stick with a system that is more traditional (NOT a coil over)....

Check out Maier Racing in Hayward, CA. You can set up your mustang front and rear for under $2500.00 Also check out their autocross videos.

No one here has even tried progressive rate springs much less coil overs...
Is that good or bad? Or does it mean, I am in uncharted territory..
Uncharted territory on this site...
I just found a Ron Morris coilover conversion kit for less than $900 that looks interesting also.
