why
Yea, you've got a 65 block which, as mentioned, can be for several different years. What year was your car? If you're building a Daily Driver (and thinking of selling later), I would keep it fairly close to stock as possible- cheaper, easier to sell, and still a fun car to drive. Custom gets pricey and is quite a loss when you resell- unless of course you've built a car exactly how someone else would have done it, which is not uncommon but still riskier.
It is a 65 coupe. I dont have much into the car and wont when I am done. I am building the whole car in my garageso the cost will be lower. The only labor I will have is the machine work on the block. I dont care about the resale that much. As long as I get a little over what I put into the car. I am trying to do some custome body work with a custom paint and flames. I am making tail lights and if I dont like them I can go back to stock. All in all I am going for as clean as I can. No chrom decals. only chrom is rear bumper and window surrounds unless i can make the surrounds black and look good.
