Hey guys. I hope to have my '66 Convertible off to soda blasting in a couple of weeks. After that, it's to the body shop for bodywork & paint. I was wondering what the "correct" paint for the undercarriage is - and what opinions are out there on this. Thanks in advance!

 

I was told it was a red oxide. Some are using Eastwoods Rust Encapsulator since it is similar in color and better rust prevention.

 

Thanks SS4LUNCH. I'm wondering how many out there painted the undercarriage the same color as the body?
