Default door locks

Has anyone ever replaced their door locks? If so how difficult is it and what is involve

I didnt replace my lock, but recently had to reinstall the button on the handle that opens the door. It fell down inside the door. All I can tell you is that the lack of working space is what makes it hard. It took me about 2 hours to get everything back in working order.

Yeah, bottom line is that it is a bitch to get to the damn thing once you have the door torn apart. I suggest you take the door off the hinges and work on it at your bench.

They aren't that tough to change. They're held in with a c-clip from the back. Just be patient and be prepared for some nicks and cuts.
