I don't think that would fit very well. 5.85" bs might be enough to run it into your inner fender. I'm not sure what the most you can do is, but I think 5.85" is likely to be beyond the max. You can always pop a wheel off and measure how much roomthere isthough, provided someone doesn't post up what the max bs can be.
Beyond that (let's pretend the 5.85" will fit), the idea backspacing for a 9" rim would be 5.25". That way the rim would center up in the wheel well.So with 5.85 you'd be sitting more than 1/2" too close to the center of the car. That means the tire you're able to fit on there will be smaller than what someone would usually put on a 9" wide rim.
If you really want to use those rims, you should find out if you can get away with 5.25" back spacing (someone here is bound to know the answer to that), and then get .30" spacers to let the rims sit in a more ideal location.
btw: the 5 x 4.5 patter is correct.

By the time you got the backspacing right to pull it up under the wheelwell, the back of the tire will be hitting the inner fender housing. So no...it won't work. Adding this photo as a point of reference...
