Default 1973 Mach I

Just wanted to get y'alls advise. There is a guy near me that has a 1973 Mach I for sale for $200.00. By VIN it shows to be a 351W car. Its missing the engine, all interior except the dash, all panals have some form of rust, the trunk looks ok, the floor pans are in need of repair, the engine compartment looks ok, hood is gone, and the top looks like someone sat on it and it has a rust hole through the top. I don't really need it, but he is gonna sell it to the scrappers if no one buys it soon. I just hate to see a Mustang get lost forever. In y'alls opinion, is it worth saving?

Thanks,

Keith

No way. If some one is willing to sell you a car for $200, it usually means they'll give it to you for free because it's a P>O>S.

(edit)- in fact, they should pay YOU $200 to take it.

id pass fixing rust holes gets pricey even if you got a welder. save your money and get a good straight body and go from there.
