Default 289 Timing Cover

does anybody make a new "old style" 289 timing cover? not the one with a bolt on timing cover, but the one that takes an aluminum pump without backing plate. mine is good, but has ALOT of pitting where water pump impeller is. tried to fix it with jb weld, but now i have jb weld in my cooling system and radiator. thanks for the help.

Hey Chief,

Have you tried NPD? It seems to me, they carry them. My 289 used the same ( early) style housing, as well.
Good Luck1
