JMD, man i hope you are right about the upper shock mounts. I had TCP strut tower brace to monte-carlo bar installed and the upper shock mount bolts are too short...the nuts are only half on...i need longer bolts. I thought my squeak possibly developed after that install. Priority-change the bolts! Thanks for the tip.
