Default My first Ford..

I know its not a mustang but I had to put up some pics of my first Ford back in High School.. I bought it in the summer of 99 for $800 from an old man that had bought it from my uncle back in the late 80's.. It had been sitting in his back yard for a while, he would only drive it about once a week to keep it running. So he gave me a deal on it, since I was a good kid and he was a regular customer at the store I worked at.. Anyway,, I did the body work myself with rattle cans, bondo, and lots of sand paper and had a local guy spray it for $100.. The body had hardly any issues,, was very straight, with just a couple of rust holes, that I coverd with bodo of course.. It was a 302/C-4 combo automatic, 2 wheel drive.. and ran great.. So here are a couple of pics.. The first is the truck, back when my uncle owned it in the early 80's.. Then after I bought it,, and finally after paint and body work.. I loved that truck..!!

So,, there you go... I just realized that Im probably going to go with about the same color for my 69.. with a black hood.. or stripes... The pics were taken at Holley beach,, now destroyed by Hurricane Rita along the Gulf Coast in Louisiana..

Yea, now when I go back home I see it every now and then,, pee'd me off though because the old man that bought it bolted in a rusty old tool box to the bed, and changed the side mirrors out for some rusty, huge, towing mirrors.. I had put new carpet, stereo, door pannels, speakers, head gaskets, exhaust, and radiator.. I miss that thing,,
