We just welded spots until it was a solid seam. The main goal was to end up with a solid continuous piece of sheetmetal. We will add a thin layer of body filler to smooth out the surface from all of the grinding.
now thatsquality workmanship, looks great! Every shop I've spoke with useslap welds to maximize costand minimize labor. Thanks for the step-by-step. It's amazing what a little bit of patience, some good tools and welding skills can accomplish. You give us all confidence.
