Replaced the quarter.....Pics
Well, my son (screen name megadeth....kids
) and I replaced the right rear quarter this last weekend. Here are some pics.

Here we removed and replaced. We had to mount the door and fender first to make certain the quarter would line up correctly. Good thing we did that because since the door was new we had to re align the striker and if we didn't then the quarter may not have matched.

That's definately some creative patchwork. I suspect mine are done in a similar fashion. Did you use ford tooling 1/4's or overseas repops ? How difficult were they to get all lined up? You do really nice captions.
The procedure involved cutting out the old quarter, laying on the new skin to match the body lines. Then laid masking tape for a cutting line. Then cutting from one end to the other tack welding along the way every few inches. When Anthony was tack welding I would press the two pieces flush with a srew driver.
