Default Carb is de-tunning itself!

Hey everyone... my carberator has a demon and keeps de-tuning itelf... what do you think?

I had to get it tuned up when I got my state emmissions test, and it was running great. Now, I haven't touched the carb since (it's been a month), and it has gotten richer and richer, and lower and lower rpms. I adjusted it last night because it was driving me nuts.

What could cause this? Would a full carb cleaning/tuning help this?

What kind of carb are you running? Stock/Modified etc. 2v or 4v?

too much fuel pressure?

I have often found that in many cases inconsistent carb function is the result of incorrect fuel pressure especially when running a performance fuel pump, either mechanical or electric. It almost seems as if the springs in the aftermarket fuel pressure regulators soften a little over time, and the pressure goes up. If you have a pressure reg. try adjusting the pressure down a little, and see if that helps.
