Quick Weatherstripping Question
I am not sure why it would be sticking out the top? It would be covered up with the chrome trim, so maybe iots to help falling water on the windshield not get into the moulding area. Thoughts?
Can't tell from your photo, but there is an extra 'lip' that is on the top facing the outside. Evil is right, it can only go on one way. If you look, the bottom is longer than the top.
Go for it and don't forget the bedding compound!

Evil/Gothand,
You know most times I feel like I am fairly experienced then I ask a question like this and then go dry fit it. Well you are right it only goes one way. I forgot that the bottom is longer. The 'lip' is at the top. I got the windshield in last night and the back light ready to go in. The windshield was one messy job.....I need to still go back and fill in the even more under the weatherstripping and around the outside of it.
I am curious what type of bedding compound did you use. After quite a bit of research, I decided to go with butyl in a tube (Caulk gun), not the butyle tape(strip).
