What should i expect to spend on an exhaust system for a 68 mustang with a 351w .

I was looking at some 200 dollar exhaust and it looks way too cheap ... so im not sure what im looking for ...

I looked through some catalogs and came up with a high of 329.00 if you are using the stock exhaust manifolds. That came with Flowmaster mufflers.

I'd suggest sending out for catalogs from MustangsPlus, MustangUnlimited etc. I'm sure people here have preferences for vendors.

I looked for non-stock larger diameter pipes for my 68 coupe, preferably coated against rust, and with a good reputation for fit. I bought them from MustangsUnlimited, and they fit fine and looked great.

 

You are probably looking at $400-$500 dollars installed. That should be from the collectors back to the rear valance.
