today my front tires had the metal showing, there 185/75/14s and my rears are 195/75/14s. my new my front tires are 185/70/14s and still have 195/75/14s on the rear. my question is this: is it necessary to have the same tires on my car.

 

I dont think it would matter. Its gonna be a tad wider and a tad taller but nothing that should cause any problems.
