Default body work before/after media blasting

I'm going to get my 66 Mustang media blasted in a couple of months. I know for a fact that I will have to have some patch work done to both rear wheel wells and will have to have both sides of the floor pans replaced. Should I go ahead and have this work done before I have the car media blasted?

Thanks,
Kris

No, blast first, repair second.

IMO media blast first, that way you wont trap rust in the new seams, you will have sound metal to attach to, and you will know what metal is sound, and what metal is not sound.

Absolutely media blast first. You'd be surpirsed what you might find after. Plus like said before, you will want and need good clean metal to weld in your new metal to. You don't want to spend a bunch of time cleaning the metal to weld when you are going to spend the money to clean it anyway. After repairing my metal first, then blasting it, I would definitely blast first. It makes it a lot easier for the welding process too and you will get a cleaner weld.
