I'm thinking about swaping out my straight 6 for a 351 Windsor on my '66. What modifications if any to the mounts are needed? Do I need the steering linkage from a V8?

 

There is a section in the FAQ that will help with a parts list for the swap, IMO the tone of the FAQ is somewhat dismal, but the info is pretty good.

I have done this swap, it is not hard, but it is extensive and can be expensive..... but if you start with the right car it is viable.
