It's just to convert to a 5-lug don't confuse him

I'm not confused. He wants to know if he can convert the axles in his existing six cylinder four lug rear to five lugs. I answered his question.

Actually the answer is yes. A good machinist can weld the holes shut on your existing axles and re-drill them for five lugs. I had it done to the front and rear of a 79 Fox body car. It's not cheap.

But as Plainsman said, just convert. It'll save you a lot of headache in the long haul.
This is likely a stupid question but sometimes the simpliest solutions are the right one. Could you swap the axles from a 8" rear into a 7.5"? I would assume the axles are different diameters and the swap would not work but you never know unless you ask.
It just occurred to me that while I think it is entirely possible to re drill the axles and brake drums to 5 hole, and I think it could be done for a reasonable amount of money, it seems to me that most wheels are hub piloted, or that is they are centered on the hub via the hole in the center of the wheel. If the pilot hole on a 5 lug is bigger than that of a 4 lug, and the 5 bolt conversion is done, the wheels would not be safe. They would be subject to wobble, and constantly loosening and breaking wheel studs. IDK, pilot holes might be the same,,, but I am not sure...

Translation - Do it right the first time and convert everything with a kit.
