This is a quote from an old Mustang Monthly mag....
“The Sports Sprint option was a sales stimulator during the spring and summer of ’67. Today, Detroit would call this package a bland name such as “Value Package,†which is what the Sports Sprint option was in 1967. The Sports Sprint package consisted of a chrome air cleaner lid atop a 200ci six or 289 V-8 with Sports Sprint decal, rocker panel moldings, louvered hood, vinylized shifter handle, and full wheel covers. It was a modest dress-up package at a special price designed to woo buyers into showrooms. Ford’s strategy worked—selling not only Mustangs, but also Galaxies, Fairlanes, Falcons, and more.†Jim Smart Mustang Monthly
I think the Sprint package was the same kinda deal but they did have a dealer installed badge on the fender, from what I've read they didn't always put it on and some didn't put it the same spot. It was pop riveted on too I think.

Fog lights were an option, not sure if it was part of the Sprint package.
The vinylized shiftr handle was plastic textured to look like vinyl. I have one. Ignore the the Flintstone floorboards.

I believe that the fog lights only came with the GT, but I'm not really sure. I remember reading about a Sprint package in '65 that dressed up the 200 ci six cylinders and gave them a 4-speed, but I don't know anything about it past '65. Judging by your name I'm assuming that you have a 1968 Mustang, so what you could do is order a Marti Report on your car which would tell you everything that came on it. Ford also has a report you can order for free, but I can't remember the name of it.
I have the package fast65 is talking about (and it's for sale) but thought it was introduced in '66. It was a marketing ploy to get the 6 cyl cars selling better. Nothing but a dress up really. Mine was a C-4 and I've read somewhere that they all were, but I could be mistaken on that.
Anyone want to buy a good running "Sprint 200" engine with matching C-4? Let me know.

The 1968 Sprint Mustang
In 1968, to help bolster sales of the Mustang, Ford Motor Company offered two different "Sprint Mustang Packages". As a Sprint buyer, you had a choice of Sprint Package "A" or Sprint Package "B".
Sprint Package "A" consisted of:
The option of a six-cylinder or eight-cylinder engine, included the C-shaped side striping, wheel lip moldings, full wheel covers and a pop-open gas cap.
Package "B" consisted of:
Eight-cylinder engine only, included the C-shaped side striping, wheel lip moldings, pop-open gas cap, but replaced the full wheel covers with argent painted Styled Steel wheels and added E70 Wide Oval white sidewall tires and grile-mounted fog lamps.
According to information gathered by J.R. Gillespie, other options, such as the Tutone (black striped) hood, the Interior Decor Group, and the hardtop vinyl roof could be combined with the Sprint Package.
From Kevin Marti, author of Mustangs By The Numbers, there were 25,012 Sprint Package "A" Mustangs and 15,106 Sprint Package "B" Mustangs built in 1968.
