so right now my engine and trans are out of the car...my engine is at the machine shop getting set up so i can rebuild it and i already did my trans...my question is what work should i do that should be done while the engine and trans are out. besides redoing the engine compartment.

 

Sounds like you pretty much have it covered. While the engine is out detail the engine compartment.
