Your buddy is a thief and a crook, no doubt about it. I would think he'd be fined and a slew of other charges in a day, not two months..

I looked on my fastback (shell) yesterday. No vins on that rear piece of metal.

how do you have a car with no vins on it anywhere sure its not stolen.cant you license it as a kit car they give you a vin then atleast they do in the usa.on the dynacorn body by law you can transfore a vin from a different car to the body i know alot of the 69 camaro ones have firebird vins but its legal.

The car may have a buck tag on the right corner of the radiator support with the VIN. Mine does. If built in San Jose then I think they don't have buck tags. My car doesn't have a VIN in the rear panel either, the glass is out and I am the only one to do any body work. I have the car from the original owner. It did have the VIN on both front aprons but only visable on the left without removing the fender. I don't know of any other location.
