First Time at the Dyno :( :(
Hey ldollar....yea that sounds great man! I'm probably not gonna be looking to do another dyno quite yet though, maybe like a month or so. But you said it was def worth it right?? You left with 54 more horses....well thats a good $400 upgrade if I've ever heard of one. You didnt add anything did you.....that was all from tuning and adjustments?? Well let me know man, I'm in modesto about 85 miles south of SF. So if I were to come up there I would hve to make a day out of it cuz of the traffic and what have you....plus I've never taken my car a road trip longer than 30 minutes.....ight man thanks for the help

I came across this today while surfing around looking at EFI stuff... http://www.sdsefi.com/techdyno.htm
It discusses how chassis dynos are not all that useful for HP measurements.
IMHO, the best use for a champion spark plug is to shoot it out of a slingshot. As ineffective as they are, they probably wouldn't even manage to break anything they hit.

So the Champion plugs suck. That sounds like the general consensus. I was looking at the receipt for my dyno tune and I didnt get charged for them so that makes me feel better.
I stand to benefit greatly from yanking them and replacing them with Autolite plugs? It would be nice to hear some arguement in support of that theory besides "FTW"! [&:]

No real tech, however, I have never run anything other than autolite in my 65 with the 410c.
Even after going lean, having the electrod tip break off and destroy the engine I still run autolites.
IME with other vehicles I have owned that I put other brand plugs in, they were not as resilient and often fouled faster and I always seemed to end up with autolites again.

Yeah, Autolites are durable, long lasting, and they work very well. They're not that expensive and they can be counted on to do what a spark plug needs to do. I'm running the 3924's in mine, copper cores, run great, starts great, good mileage, minimal deposit buildup etc
Back when I had a POS big block Dodge Charger it went through a lot of plugs. A set of Champions lasted a few days. A set of Autolites lasted a few months. NGKs lasted a little longer than the Autolites.
