Well, I finally got a good look at the passenger side shock tower. It's been welded right where someone would cut holes to lube the upper control arm. Also, it looks like a crack was welded, and the inside plate.

What I would like to find out is your opinion. Replace or recheck and reweld? Anyone ever see a step by step procedure for this? You've all been pretty good about suggesting a rebuild guide, are there measurements in there for this?

on a crack if you drill holes at both ends of it will stop it and weld it up is fine.its up to you id reweld it to make sure its right.they make shock tower reinforcing kit maybe get one of those.
