GREAT DYNO EXPERIENCE!!!!
So I went to get my car dyno'd today at a shop Idollar reccomended me to. They were great!!! Nick Rescino's Performance Engine in San Francisco. For one my original dyno from a local shop was inaccurate so when I got there I was only reading 243.3 rwhp.....after changing my jets, springs in the cap, some timing adj. and a lil drilling, I ended up with 326.5 rwhp. Thats over 80 horses form a tune!!!!!!!!! Extremely happy
And to top it off the only reason we quit runnin it was cuz I had to trailer it back so I could get to work on time and it NEVER dropped off. It was still making power at 5900 rpm's when we quit running it. Anyway just thought I would share my story

302 bored .40 over, Edelbrock Performer Heads, Intake, and Cam. Holley 650 Double Pumper, full MSD ignition, and a killer tune!!! Other than that 3.73's in the 8.8 in back, full exhaust, and a 2800 stall....pretty damn quick for a lil 302
wow! my motor hasnt probably been tuned in about 20-30 years nor rebuilt. it still sounds great and doesnt smoke but i bet its time to get mine tuned huh? how much does that usually run?
Depends on the shop and how good they are. Around here its roughly $100 an hour. Make sure you tell them you want it tuned while its on the dyno...otherwise they will just dyno it [&:].
Yea I paid 200/hr. But it was def worth it!!!!!! This shop was very professional and they went over everything they did to my car as they did it.....would go again if I needed to, and its 100 miles from where I live.....so what does that tell you about the shop.....they were awesome!!!
