Coup to Convert ??

Default Coup to Convert ??

i have a 67 coup stripped down and ready for resto, but would like to convert to a convertible.. i have the ability to cut and weld but would like to hear from others that have done this to learn the process. thanks for any help.

Its like making a coupe in to a fastback alot of money to do and wont be worth anymore when you sell it if you do.Been me id just go buy a convertible its probably cheaper.Heres a link to look at http://www.mustangrestoration.net/ConvertConv.html only thing he did wrong or didnt show was the floor pan bracing the convertibles used.

Sounds like a lot of work. Probably could find a vert for less time/money/parts, etc.
