conflictin info on disc brake conversion
am seeing two different spindles on ebay auctions that are supposed to be for 67 mustang. one has 3 mount holes for the backing plate, one has 4. where/how do the caliper adapters/brackets attach ?
any input would be appreciated.

The picture with just the two spindles may be original equipment pieces. The picture with all of the hardware may be a conversion so it would naturally be different. Also too the V8 and I6 items may be different. I do know that V8's had 5 lugs and I6's had 4. This may also be the reason for the differences. The top photo seems to be for drum brake set-up. I haven't had mine apart in a long time. The best info I can give you is to e-mail the people and ask. If they don't give satisfactory answers pass on them...there will be more to chose from later.
