OK, I'll throw in my opinion also...

1969 = meanest stance

Of course, I could be a bit biased.

the 69 was born mean...now take a 65 or 66 coupe and make it mean...that takes talent

You see, this is how it is.

The 68's wish they were 67's and the69s and 70s are the preferred car of the peenilly challanged while the 65 and 66 are almost as exciting as wet socks. That leaves the 71-73's whichare the red-headed stepchildren of the Classics.

And that, dear friends, is irrefutable, incontrivertiblescientific proof that the 67 Fastback is the best. car. ever.

There. Now that we are all in agreement, thatsettles it.

The '69s are great! All you have to do to make them the baddest looking car ever built is remove 2 headlights, poke 5 holes in the hood, add some side scoops, stretch out the taillights,flip up the trunk lid and the quarter end caps and throw in some snakes!

'69 Shelby - IMHO the best looking car ever put on the road. - (convertible preferred). [sm=burnout.gif]

Oh, and '70s look good too (They were just re-plated '69s anyway)
