69's ROCK Mine is not ready to drive yet but I do agree it has a meaner and aggressive look to it. The longer front end andthe muscle looking quarters give it an "eat the road up" look

You guys are all wrong. It has been scientifically proven time and time again that the 1967 fastback is the greatest creation ever to roll out of Dearborn. Not just any 68 fastback mind you, but LCC's in particular.

Yep. Scientifically proven. Look it up.

Now, that right there, that's good. ....

I agree. The 69 is the meanest classic stang ever created. I'm sure the fact I have a 69 Grande doesn't effect my opinion at all.

You see, this is how it is.

The 68's wish they were 67's and the69s and 70s are the preferred car of the peenilly challanged while the 65 and 66 are almost as exciting as wet socks. That leaves the 71-73's whichare the red-headed stepchildren of the Classics.

And that, dear friends, is irrefutable, incontrivertiblescientific proof that the 67 Fastback is the best. car. ever.

There. Now that we are all in agreement, thatsettles it.
Hey don't hate on the 66's, I've seen some nice ones, all it takes is a cowl hood for a good start
Although I'm looking at it from a young dudes perspective and not some old man view[8D]

This is a great topic!!! Now allow me to shed some light on the subject. 65-66 Coupe was the best thing to ever roll out of Dearborn.

The 69s and 70s are very mean looking, I wish Id have held out til I got a 69' or 70. The 71s aren't bad but it depends on the paint job and the way they sit.

Don't think I hate the earlier models, I'm the proud owner of a burgandy (well, the last owner tried to make it burgandy.. now it's just purple) '65.. I bought it as my graduation present outta high school . Too bad I have to sell it now (only 5 months later) so I can pay for college.. world sucks sometimes.
