FMX or C6

Default FMX or C6

I was wondering what tranny should i use. i have a 351 w withabout 400+ HP. And i want a good automatic tranny so it can hold the power. i have a c4 right now , but ive stopped driving because i knw the tranny cannot hold the engine any more. so which one do yo guys reccomend?

stick with the c4 just buy a performance one plenty strong enough

I agree with rmodel. Stick with the c4 and get a performance one. The c4 is lighter and has less drivetrain loss than a FMX or a c6, and with a performance one usually your loss is even less. A c6 would be mostly out of the question because it was designed for mainly big blocks and trucks. Its tough as hell but its also heavy too and has more loss than a c4.

i have a built 351w around 400 also, and i had my c4 built to handle the power. not a single problem yet.
