my friend just got a new mustang gt and it has a shaker 1000 in it and she doesnt like the quote on quote "boom boom" sound so is it possable to use this on an aftermarket radio in my mustang? ive gota blaupunktand it has more wires for more speakers.i know the mustangs come with a shaker radio too so im not sure if thats required to make the shaker controlls work.all i need to do is run a wire to the trunk and hook it up right? it should be pretty neat to put in.

oh also. as far as the stock 70 dash it has a grille for the original speaker. i know that mustangsplus and such sell a aftermarket speaker for there but i hear its made cheaply. anyone bought one and had good luck?

 

I have the shaker 1000 in my '05 GT as well. She can adjust the bass down to nothing
