Best of both worlds.

Looking at your signature- "the best of both worlds" is having a nice stereo in your mustang and an AC Cobra that's so loud that you don't even care about the radio.

Hey all, noob on the forum, this thread looked like a good spot to start posting. Considering I did a restoration to original on this car twice already, I figured second time around I would take it restomod so here is my Alpine install in Project Kryptonite.....

Tai of CarTrendZ is creating the custom trim ring that will flush mount the head unit to the dash and avoid the common gap due to the curved and stepped dash contour.

Interesting technique. Is that an epoxy that he used as an edgefill, then came back and smoothed to shape?

Nice, I would be interested in one of those custom trim rings. I used a little bead of black caulk to hide the gap.

my car's dash was alread hacked when i got it, and the car had been poorly taken care of. which is ok because i am going to build the car as a sound quality competition car, so the whole dash will be fiberglassed over so it dont really matter that it was hacked. but the job the people did to get it out of the dash was horrible, i will find the pic of it and upload it, probably the worst i have ever seen
