I need some help on how to take off the fitting that comes from the back of the power steering pump to the power steering control valve. What do I use and how do I do it? I know its the cause of my leak becuae when i bent the tube back a bit at the fitting you could see the crack in the rubber.

The picture is not the best but its the first tube you see in the front

I might be a little confused with your question-I used a box wrench to unhook the line on the back of the pump and a box wrench on the control valve side.Be very careful putting the new line in...dont kink it on the control valve side.The repops dont have the correct bend to them and you run the chance of cross threading it if you dont get it in just right.

What did you do to get your fitting situation fixed. I am in the same boat. I just left an auto parts store trying to locate the high pressure hose with no luck. Everything they brought out was wrong.The original hose is on one end open anda fitting on the other. Is this correct for the look of the hose?
