You better garage the car in the mean time while you get the locks replaced. Theres a good site called restoremustangs.com that sells them. I have bought a lot of crap from them and it all seems to be of good quality. Good luck with the starting. I always like to remove the plugs and hand crank to get the fluids moving. Its a pain in the *** on a v8 but a 6 banger should have a little bit more room to dig your hands around in the engine compartment. Should be easier to crank to. Good luck.

Thanks! Dead battery. LOLOLOL

I tried to jump start is with my 350z.....but it didn't like the rice. Need to go buy a new battery. Great advice on removing the plugs to let her spin. I'll do that ASAP.

Yep, I got the title!

As funny as that is, it's not true.

I had a guy try to tell me that my V6 LeSabre wouldn't have enough to jump his 05 GT. Dumbass. I hooked them up and after 3 seconds he tried once and it didn't start so he was like, "well, thanks anyway" and gave me 10 bucks. LOL!!! Loser. If you jumped it right and it didn't crank, there may be an underlying problem. I jumped my step dads old 86 Dodge Ram a few times with my Buick and it's worked, but as soon as the car was disconnected it shut right back down, slowly.

Like it has been suggested before, try to hand crank the motor. Make sure it isn't seized before you try to start it.

the inline 6 has the stroke of a big block, so it can put out quite a bit of power with a little work. why do you need a key just jump it off...but you do need to turn it just in case.

You'd be surprised. I raced a brand new altima with mine and considering how old that stang was and the advances in technology, I managed to stay slightly ahead of him. [/quote]

Dont know if u know this, but EVERY ALTIMA has aV4. So in other words that altima probably would have beat u if it was V6. (Would have beat mine too)

Also I6's arent really that bad. I like mine. Yet the sound isnt that good. Hoping for a Cherrybomb muffler for christmas.[8D]
