Default c4 to t5 conversion kit

any of you guys know where to get a conversion kit - with all the parts- for a c4 to t5 conversion for a 67, 289.

found one at modern drive line but was wondering if there was another place to shop.

Windsor-Fox used to, but I notice their website is gone. Dunno. Mustangs Plus has several items for the swap, but I don't think they're in kit form.

These guys not cheap but very good products. Even tho I had a toploader 4 speed I bought the TKO swap kit for a automatic. You may need to get a cluth pedal I think. Everything else came with the kit. I switched from a 289 to a 5.0 based 347 so fly wheel to drive-shaft they provided me.You can upgrade any parts or tell them you on a budget they will work with you.

Yes the swap is worth it and you should be able to do it for half that cost (or less) if you are willing to use some used parts. Having done the T5 swap twice (C4 to T5 and Toploader to T5), I'd suggest using a 5.0L bellhousing, clutch release lever and diaphragm pressure plate/clutch as it will be cheaper and easier and then use eithera Mustang Steve cable linkage or go hydraulic.

Monitor Ebay for a lot of these parts. I routinely see pedal assemblies and other needed parts on there.

Good luck!

one of the reps from keisler said that the t5 would not handle 330 hp and that a tko 500 was what i needed. what do you think?
