Intakes
I have a 69 Sportsroof that is kind of my version of a Boss 302 I am fixing up, doing body work now but planning for the engine build in the next 6 months. I am going to run a Ford Racing 351 9.2 block, Dry Sump oiling system,CNC ported D3 Yates heads, Ferrea Valves, Crane Cams Valvetrain w/mech roller. Im running a 3.0 stroke crank 6.3" rods and custom CP pistons.
I have spoken to the guys at Holman Moody about building the engine and have also spoken to some People at Roush Yates Racing engines and we have worked out getting the engine detuned to a streetable/road race style motor with 8200 redline and torque from 2000 rpms, but we are kind of limited about intake options, Pretty Much I Can run either the edelbrocks or Ford racing with sc-1 or D3 heads, the yates guys said I could run the old C3(since they dont have the raised runners)heads with a Bud Moore maxi plenum, thoughts or experiences.

well, for that kind of redline, you should in my opinion go with a single plane edlebrock i think som of the go to around 7k rpm, and the port the runners, and the polish the living **** out of it that might get you to be able to get close to 7500-7700 rpms. someone correct me if im wrong.
