Default Bay Area, CA Paint Shops?

Anyone on here from the Bay Area? If so, do you know of any reasonably priced paint shops in your area? I'm looking to get my 1965 Mustang Coupe painted.
I'd like to deal with someone who comes recommended....

Also, if you have a guesstimate as to how much it will cost that would be great. If not, a contact name and number will do.

Cheers.

I'm also in San Jose, but sadly I have yet to search for a reputable paint shop. If you ever do find one tho please tell me I'm interested.

I am in Oakland and used Group II in San Leandro to do my hood. Bob Rogers is the owner and he fit the Maier fiberglass hood perfect and did paint and polish. He did a very good job. It was about $500 for the hood work only. He would probably try to give you a ballpark quote in person but not over the phone. He is a real pro and without seeing the car and how much prep etc needs to be done, I doubt he would give you any firm number$ on the phone. If it is worth it to you to travel up there, check him out. You might be better off finding someone in San Jo if it is easier.
Good luck!
Group II (510) 483-9977 - Bob Rogers, owner
If you call him, tell him that Luke with the 68 Mustang sent you his way. Cheers.

Got my paint done at Island Auto Body in Sunnyvale : http://www.islandautobody.com/

Niel is very nice and although he makes more on collision work he has quite some experience with classics. He was working on a couple when I got mine done.

I'm very happy with the job they did on my car for $3000. I had done a good amount of prep work myself though. He'll want to see your car to give you an estimate. You'll be amazed by the number of dents and waves they'll detect on a body that you think is perfect ;-)

I had a quote from Maaco Sunnyvale for about $2200, I think the extra $800 box to go with Niel's shop were well worth it.

If only they had not scratched the new paint around the door hinge while putting the doors back on the car I would call it perfect.
