Default Replacing Vinyl Top

I am going to replace the vinyl top for my hardtop coupe (1969). I found this part at the following website: Link

How do these tops usually come? Are they conformed to the proper shape and you simply attach them? Do you use any sort of adhesive?

Thanks for your help!

I am prty sure that they are attached with some kind of adhesive. I know my 67 had a vinal top and it seems like that is how it is on there.

yes....the old comes off and not easy..you will need to scrape off all the old glue to make for a smooth surface....then use thinner and a clean white rag before applying the glue..you must then stretch the vinyl over the top

The cover should come with the proper adhesive. But, yes, you do need to use an adhehive. The cover should be slightly wider and longer than you need, so trimming is necessary. Just make sure you have solved any rust issues before putting on the new cover.
