Radiator Hoses - need help
1969 Mustang couple, Inline 6 4.1L 250ci.
I am having a hell of a time getting radiator hoses for it. All part stores I've gone to, have a lower Flex hose that is the right diameter for the opening (1 1/2), but the top hose they claim to be 1 1/4, which it is not. They're both the same diameter. I then go to order from CJ Pony parts who shows a picture of what looks like the hoses. I get them today and find out, they're 1 1/4.
WTF am I not seeing here? The radiator, waterpump, and thermostat housing were replaced, and the hoses I took off the car, are the exact same that would work with my new setup. I took the hoses with me to a parts store in the past and nothing. I think Napa can possibly order them (guy looked in his book and claims to have found the proper diameter. I just don't want to order a new set from them and find out they aren't correct either.
Anyone else have this problem?

Matt,
I have a 302 with stock rad, so not sure about your sizes. Maybe someone replaced your rad along the way. In any case, a decent parts place should be able to come up with something aftermarket that closes matches your exisiting hoses. May take a bit of trial and error when they aren't swamped.

The radiator I just replaced the other day. Same hose sizes. I got the hoses I needed as I had a parts store just search their shelves for the hoses that looked similar and had the right dimension.
Thanks though
