The 305 was one of Chevy's most useless engines. But, just because you even thought of that we are sending you to therapy.

Thats a 305 you need a door stop or a boat anchor.Best chevy small blocks are 283 327 350 400 the 305 and 307 are junk.I wouldnt bother with a chevy engine in a ford youll have to make motor mounts and a tranny mount custom driveshaft etc etc its alot of money if you cant make things.That 351 depends what shape its in go look at it get the casting numbers off the heads and we'll tell you what its worth id give it a range of 50-300 bucks.

I think the whole Ford vs. Chevy rivalry is dumb. They both make nice cars, and the can both be modifed to be extremely fast.

But you shouldnt put a chevy in your stang. not only would there be people that would beat the crap out of you for that (literally) but it would be way more expensive then building up a ford small block.

What do you mean 'how fast can a 351 go'? If you mean RPM wise, then a 289 could go faster cuz there is less of a stroke. If you mean how fast can it make your car go, there are pretty much endless possibilities of combos with your driveline and engine parts that make that question pretty hard to answer with no info.

yea man dont put in a chevy engine into a mustang thats like a sin. I'd rather see a I-6 in there then a chevy engine. hell im tryin to get a 5.0 for my 67 ur more then welcome to my 67's 289. has 59,860 original miles on it. throw me a lil cash towards that 5.0 and shippin and its yours.

305= POS,

dont everyone intimidate him. a 351 would be a great choice. how fast can it go is only relative to how much do you want to spend.
