U'r right. Our cars were meant to be driven and envied. If your DDsurvived in AK you'll do fine in WA. I'd get a spare set of belts and hoses, etcfor the drive down. Good luck with school.

my 67 coupe is my only car so it is obviously my daily driver (except in the winter..dad won't let me) and I can't imagine not driving it everyday.

I drive mine during nice weather. It’s great to meet someone else whom either has a Mustang in the parking lot with me or on the garage back home. I learn a lot and make a few nice friends that later on can share information or ideas on projects.

I drive my 66 FB almost every day around town and use my other car for the longer trips!! It amazes me as to how many older cars I see on the road every day!![8D]

I would trust my old vehicles more than I would my new F150. Too much to mess up on the new ones. I drove my 1970 F100 every day for about 6 years until I just couldn't handle the gas mileage any more. My mustang will get low 20's on the highway though.

+1 on ^...its acctually DRIVING...not just riding. plus, you drive a classic around for a while, youd be amazed how much better you handle driving a "normal" car. just from awareness to actuall skill

When DDing the 67 I cringe everytime I see someone driving next to me or infront of me while talking on a cell phone or texting. I can't count how many times ive had to lock up the brakes because someone pulled out infront of me, or swerved over to catch an exit. Be careful out there guys!Besides everyone else on the road my 67 makes a great DD.

Could not agree more. My 67 is my only car and is my daily driver. Love every minute of it!
