Default Need tires!

I went online to TireRack looking for 215-60-15's BFG's. Backordered! They have 205's in stock.... I installed 600lb springs in the front (to lower it 1"), and new leafs in the back that lower the car 1".... Will I be better off with the 205's or stick to the 215's?

Hi!

I bet you will see no big difference between 205 and 215when thetire has same profile and diameter. Handling will be the same, im for shure

Go with the 205-I have 205 in the front and 215 in the back-cant tell the difference-when I had 215s up front they rubbed-205 in the front are fine on my car (1966)-I want to get 205 for the back when I wear the 215s out...Scott
my fender lips are rolled up front-they still hit with the 215s

Have you considered possibly trying a better tire than a BFG Radial TA?
You will see a huge (IMO) improvement in handling and ride quality with a better tire....I like the Falkens personally for that size and have been very happen with them

I got Bridgestone Potenza G 009's from Tirerack, mainly for winter use. They have very good snow/ice and rain traction. Good dry traction as well.
